AGA Skins Game Rules

The skins game that the AGA holds during every tournament or golf outing is pretty straight forward. It is always optional and with a bit of luck, can be a HUGE investment!

here are the rules (you must pay into the skins game to qualify):

1) all scorecards are collected and the skins organizers mark each hole that a person birdies or eagles.

2) after going through all the scorecards, they check if nore than 1 person birdies each hole. If 2 or more people birdies that hole then they go to the next hole. If only 1 person birdies a certain hole, they are awarded 1 skin.

3) This continues for all 18 holes. So if only 1 person birdies hole #5 (for example) and there are 2 or more birdies on every other hole, then that 1 person wins the entire pot! Michael BMW benefited from this scenario at Eagle Glen.

4) In the event there are 2 or more birdies on EVERY HOLE, we will then take the total number of birdies and distribute your share of the total pot with the number of birdies you have. So let’s say there is a $500 skins pot, there are 10 birdies total, and you have 3 of those birdies. You will get $150 ($50 each) for your birdies. AGAIN, this scenario only takes place if there are 2 or more birdies (or Eagles) on every hole.

Hope that makes sense… Remember that your birdie or eagle only counts if you enter into the optional skins game (usually $20). Post your questions to us if you need further clarification!
